At ZenSlate, your thoughts and ideas belong to you. The app is built to stay quiet - no developer accounts, no analytics, and no custom backend.

No Data Collection

We do not collect, store, process, or transmit personal information, usage data, or analytics. ZenSlate does not operate a developer-controlled server for your notes.

iCloud Sync

When iCloud sync is enabled, your slates sync through Apple’s iCloud using your Apple ID. That data is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy practices. The developer of ZenSlate does not have access to the contents of your notes.

On-Device Storage

Notes, edits, and preferences are stored on your devices. You can use ZenSlate without enabling iCloud; in that case your writing remains local to the device.

Offline Use

Writing, searching, and organizing your notes works offline. An internet connection is only needed when syncing via iCloud or downloading the app.
